Luxury Item to ask for Birthday
I have a birthday coming up and seeing as though I'm pregnant, clothes don't seem to be a good idea this year. I want to ask for some kind of purse or accessory that is high end and timeless - anyone have any good ideas?

classic, timeless, and not 'typical' = Chanel
I'd go for a bag over shoes while pregnant. You don't know what your feet will be like later and you don't want $1200 shoes just sitting on the shelf staring back at you!

Some sort of watch.
And it really depends on your style. For example I have no desire to EVER own a LV bag even if it was free. Not my style even a little.
What do you like in terms of designers?

A watch or piece of jewelry. My DH got me the Aaron Basha baby shoe for my birthday after DD was born. It's so beautiful and sentimental.

Marc Jacobs diaper bags are great, I love mine.
An LV bag or Chanel bag is totally classic.
Same with a good classic LV or Chanel wallet if you wanted something luxury but not as pricey as a bag.
I'm also obsessed with sunglasses, and a good pair of Chanel sunglasses are killer.

My birthday is coming up too and I'm wondering the same! I suggest going to some high end stores and just feeling out what you like and go from there. I've done that twice already and trying to narrow it down.

Chanel bag!!! It's my dream bag and timeless
Cartier bracelet is definitely timeless too
And I agree on the shoes. Spending money on expensive shoes that might not fit after baby would be heartbreaking for me!
