Vacations with older teens
Where do you take your older teens on vacation? We have two teenage daughters (15&17) and I'm looking for somewhere new and different for us to do. We have a house in Aruba and a house in Lake George so we've pretty much done every beach and every woodsy activity you could think of. We've been to Disney, Universal, Canada, cruises, all the big cities up and down the East Coast and some in between to California (sheesh, these kids have a good life) but I want to try somewhere different that they would enjoy, any suggestions?

At that age I just wanted to sit on the beach! Growing up we did the Jersey Shore every summer.

Utah! Hit up bryce and Zion. So many awesome towns in Colorado as another option.

SO much to do...I absolutely love it there. I've traveled around the country twice and got to experience so many amazing things.

I would say somewhere where you are comfortable with them going off on their own for awhile. By 18, I was vacationing alone with friends, so I imagine I'd want my own time if I went with family. Somewhere with a beach would probably work.

I did Italy and Europe (London, Paris, Amsterdam, Belgium, Berlin, Munich) as a teenage and they were the best!
