Pulling up
DD is 9 months and isn't pulling herself up on furniture, which I'm pretty sure is because we never have her near any furniture (she's always on her play mat or in her pack and play and is only in her crib for sleeping). So, stupid question....do you just let your LO hang on the floor? Don't they fall? Am I overthinking this?

Pulling up
I would put a cushy blanket on the floor and give her a little more room to move around. Do you have an activity table? That would be a great motivator.

Pulling up
I let my ds go where ever and keep an eye on him. He fell all the time. They are fine. They can withstand a fall from their feet.

Pulling up
Our house wasn't really safe for complete free range, so we created an area near our couch for the kid to practice pulling up and standing. We removed the coffee table from the area for a few months, so there was no hard surface other than the floor. The kid fell all the time, but that's part of how they learn. The pulling up falls were much easier watch than the learning how to walk falls!

Re: Pulling up
Make a room or two a safe zone and use gates. Much easier to keep small stuff off floor in contained zone. We never had kids in pack n play/ mats... But we still had one that took forever to pull up!

Pulling up
I sit her on a blanket and put a pillow behind her incase she falls back... She sits up really well she falls back when she tries to look up at us. Shes only 7.5m tho.
Hailey didnt even start crawling till over 10m old so she didnt pull herself up till she was at least 1.

Re: Pulling up
DS is 9 months and there is no sign of pulling up. He sits on the floor and plays with his toys. I am in no hurry for movement

Pulling up
DS didn't pull up until about 11-12 months. We gave him free range of our den he crawled and played all over but never had an urge to pull up. I wouldn't worry too much
