What's the illness du jour?
DD is sick....again. Fever is 102.8 at the moment. Took her to the ped this morning; slightly red throat and ears and MISERABLE. May be a virus, may be an infection, I was just told to watch for spots. I feel like she's awfully young to keep spiking these high fevers (8 months).
So what is going around this week? Anyone else's kid sick?

What's the illness du jour?
My kids aren't sick (yet) but, there was a notice in one of their cubbies (DH did pick up and all of the papers were together) that strep was going around (again).

What's the illness du jour?
My 11 month old gets sick like that every single month except her fevers go as high as 104-105. It's been a few weeks so anytime she coughs lately, I wonder if it's time for this month's illness. I might take her to an infectious disease dr or a pulmonologist.

DD had coxsackie 2 weeks ago, and now this week me and both kids had a cold (no fevers, though) sore throats, coughing, congestion.

Both of my kids had viral infections (fevers and colds) for the past 5 weeks.

Coxsackie is miserable!. My son had it. I got it and his dad got it as well. It was terrible and very painful.

It went back and forth. First my son. Then my daughter. Then my daughter again. Then my son. Then my daughter. It was not pleasant, but I think we're seeing the end of the light!

There was a coxsackie note in the cubbies today and one of DS' good friends who is usually there was not.

Yup. Coxsackie. Rash started this morning. She hasn't had a fever since late yesterday afternoon. Could I be lucky enough that it peaked already and now we just have to deal with the rash??!!

My daughter had a fever for one day (Monday) and that's really the only day she was not feeling well. The rash started the next day and she was already almost back to normal. Now she's completely fine but still has the rash, it's slowly healing...So hopefully your daughters been trough the worst already!

Coxsackie. My DS got it from my niece, and then passed it on to my friend's daughters 
The fever lasted just over 24 hours. Then he had the rash on his hands and feet for 2 more days. It went away pretty quick. I think he passed it on to me. I had a very painful red throat, swollen tonsils, the white dots on my tonsils. I was better 2 days later. My friend's daughters got the mouth sores, my son didn't.
