I always wanted 4-6. My husband always said he only wanted 2. A few weeks after our first was born, he said, "I think I could do 3." So we decided then to go for 3. We now have our 3 (6, 4, and 2), and are done simply for financial reasons. My husband always says as soon as we win the lottery, we can start trying for number 4

How many kids?
We wanted three or four, we will eventually wind up with two. DS is five already. We are not where we want to be in our careers. And after a lot of discussions about finances, we decided one more works for us.

How many kids?
I always wanted 3. DH said he wanted 2 but would be open to a 3rd. We have 2 now and while we have not 100% decided, I think we are likely done. In theory I would love to have another baby but for many reasons, it would be in our best interest to be done.

I have one.

I didn't really ever want kids till I met DH. When we had our first he was such an easy kid I said I wanted 4 Then we had DD and I ate my words! We stopped at 2 and it was the best decision.

I always wanted 2 or 3 and we have 3. My husband would go for a forth, but I work So it would be too much for me to handle! Mine were 3 under 3!

How many kids?
I always wanted 3 and DH wanted 2. After having our 1 DD, DH very much wanted to be one and done and just recently started saying he would be okay trying for another this year. I think we will probably be done at 2.

No to answer to original question, I don't want fewer kids since starting to have kids. I've changed my mind a lot over the years. I used to think 3-4, and then in my 20s I didn't want to even go down this road at all, but then I had my first & I'd really love to have as many as I feel like we can handle which I'm not sure what that number is yet or will turn out to be. I'm working on #3 now & I don't feel done. I picture us with 5 but we'll see how the next several years play out.

I always wanted 2. Now that I have 2 I want one more. I love being pregnant and I love babies. I am not young so it may not be in the cards, but we will try for one more.
