Re: My pool is GREEN!
Posted by nraboni
I know!! That's exactly what mine looked like. I had someone come to assess the problem and he dumped about 20 gallons of shock in my pool this morning and by noon it was not green anymore!
Wow! So it just needed that much shock? Crazy!

Re: My pool is GREEN!
if some chemical is a little off, when it rains too much or even too much soon and lets not forget debris coming in contact with the pool, algae will begin to grow back. If you not cleaning the pool when you see some hints of it, it will just come back and tint your pool.
I by all means is not a pool expert as I've been learning year by year once i owned this house of 3 years, i gotten valuable lessons such as shocking.
We shock almost once a week especially after heavy rainfalls.
