Wildwood - UPDATE what to bring?
Staying at a beach resort with a pool, full kitchen for 3 nights. Kids are 10 and 13. What should be bring? Never been so not sure what to expect at beach and Boardwalk, amusement parks, restaurants, etc.
Update: we are here! We are in the diamond beach area and its just fabulous! We brought our own chairs and umbrella. I can't believe ive never been here before! BF and i and kids think this beach blows away our punta cana trip a year ago!
There are no restaurants here so we will drive to wildwood later for dinner.
Only here a few hours and already know i would come back again!

Where are you staying? Some resorts have loaner chairs/umbrellas if you don't want to drag your own. If they don't, I would bring those and beach towels

Acacia beach resort. It seems like it's a little south of the main Boardwalk.

It sounds familiar. I probably passed it. We were in Diamond Beach, kind of then next town over but still in the area.
Anyway, I don't know much about what your resort provides but we did bring our beach chairs and umbrella (because our resort charged for that). I brought beach towels (the pool provided towels but they were small for the beach). I brought a beach blanket and DD"s sand toys and her small pop up tent that folds down very small when it's put away.
Our room had a kitchenette and a Keurig so I brought our own k cups, splenda, creamer, snacks, cheese and crackers, WINE, sweet tea vodka and lemonade, water bottles to tote it to the beach and pool in , bottled water, snacks for DD etc
Also, a LOT of restaurants down there are BYOB so if you have a wine you love, bring it for the restaurants. Or you can buy it at the liquor stores there but I didn't feel like searching for one.

Wildwood - what to bring?
Nice -- Acadia is pretty much down the block from Diamond Beach. I agree with pp that you should bring beach blanket, towels, chairs and umbrella. The Beach is so nice! If you like seafood check out Two Mile Landing. They have outdoor seating and live music. I also enjoyed eating at Little Italy. Both places are great for kids too.

Just looked it up because I was curious. You are basically down the block from where I stayed. I like that area a lot- much quieter than Wildwood near the boardwalk. More residential, less chaos.
For breakfast you can walk to Jamaica me Hungry- it's a block away from you in the Regal Plaza hotel- right on Atlantic- the same street you are on. The food was yummy and the prices were good and they are very nice in there. Great breakfast.
You do have to drive to the boardwalk area and the area with most restaurants and it's mainly street parking with meters which can be challenging. Bring quarters or you can download a parking app for the meters which was convenient.

Thanks ladies for the tips! I called the tourist office and she also gave me an idea of our location.

Re: Wildwood - what to bring?
In addition to the things already mentioned, definitely being boogie boards for your kids. I would also bring a cooler so you can bring drinks down to the beach. And if you're bringing beers/mixed drinks, make sure to bring cups.
