Wildwood/Cape May/Stone Harbor...good vacation for a toddler?
My mom and her brother have a family beach house in Cape May Courthouse. It is smack in the middle of Wildwood, Avalon, Stone Harbor, and Cape May and 20-30 mins south of Atlantic City. I like the location because it leaves us with many options. DH and I go every year for an extended weekend but we normally do the shops at Cape May and Stone Harbor, beach day, zoo, etc. We want to take DS who will be just about 2 this summer and an infant. Are there rides for DS at Wildwood or just adult rides? What else in the area would be good for him?

Morey's Piers at Wildwood has a ton of rides suitable for a 2 year old. We love it there, so clean and family friendly. Plus they have 2 waterparks too, that will be really fun for him. Those are awesome, spotless and steps from the ocean.
There is the Cape May Zoo in Cape May. It's free. Kind of boring IMO, but a 2 year old would probably enjoy it.

Ocean City, NJ is the perfect place for a child this age. It's about 20 minutes south of Cape May.

you probably meant OCNJ is north of Cape May, not south...Cape May is on the southern tip of Jersey and OC is about 20 min north of it. OC is great for kids of all ages! I have a ton of posts on it because I ahve been going forever and love it. I also do love Cape May. Stone Harbor is nice as is Sea Isle City. not a huge fan of Wildwood but there is alot to do there.

Thank you for correcting that big error on my part!! I was thinking about driving from OCNJ to Cape May! Duh! Isn't OCNJ just the best?!!
