Last night in crib
My daughter is getting her big girl furniture so tonight was the last night I put her to sleep in her crib and it honestly has me so sad. I feel like this is really the last piece I have of her being a baby. Please tell me I'm not the only one that feels like this.

Last night in crib
My son is getting his big boy bed tonight, he's been looking forward to it all month. This morning I was also a little sad taking him out of his crib. Especially when he said 'It's my last morning in the crib! I'm a big boy!'
So yes, I am a little sad as well.

You're def not the only one that feels like this. My 3 yo dd is still in her crib. She hasn't tried to climb out and is very happy in her crib. Which makes me happy bc I'm not ready for her to be in a big girl bed.

Nope! I feel the same way when my dd moves on from things she is outgrowing since she is our last child.

Re: Last night in crib
We are changing my dd1's crib to a bed today too. I'm feeling bittersweet as well.

same here. No rush to move him. The thought does make me sad. Any time he stops doing something I get sad. I'll keep him in there another year if he doesn't ask to change.

Re: Last night in crib
We gave away our crib yesterday and i thought I would feel sad but i was so happy, all it did was take up space, neither kid ever really slept in it. DD as we were taking it apart actually said we can't give it away DS never slept in it and i responded that's exactly why we are giivng it away.
I do get nostalgic with clothes outgrowing and toys but not with sleeping things.
