BFing only in the morning and night?
DS is going to turn 1 next month, and I plan to give him whole milk during the day at that point. I still pump at work and need to stop pumping next month. DS is showing no signs of wanting to stop BFing, but how bad will my milk supply tank if I only nurse him in the morning and at night?

Your supply will be fine! My DS typically nurses 1-3 times a day and he's 27 months old. We've been in this pattern for a while now. Most days, I'm ready to wean him, but he's fighting it. I can't wait for turtle neck weather (for this reason only)

Re: BFing only in the morning and night?
I BF DC only in the am and pm from 10 months old to 17 months old-no pumping during the day and I had no issues with supply. My other DC I did the same (7months old to 13 months) with no issues.

Phew! That's good to know. I hate pumping, and he's not ready to wean. Thanks!

I did this with my first dd - stopped pumping around 11 months, introduced cow's milk and nursed morning/night and weekends (whenever I was with her) until she was 18 months. If my supply dropped, she didn't complain - it was probably more for the comfort at that point anyway. They are getting most of their calories/nutrients from food and whole milk at that point anyways.
This is how I plan to do it for my 7mo dd when she is around 11 months as well - maybe earlier (like 10 months) if dr. gives the okay. So done with the stress of pumping and getting enough each day.

DS nurses anywhere from 0-3 times a day and he's 26 months your supply will do what it will do and it will be fine.

BFing only in the morning and night?
DS2 is turning 1 in 2 weeks and he started to wean like a month ago or so. He nurses once or twice during the day (short sessions), bedtime, and at night but they're short sessions as well. I have felt a little of a drop in my supply but DS is not complaining at all and since it's not bothering him, it's not bothering me. I pumped for a bit at the beginning but then stopped, and I'm happy I didn't find myself in the need of really doing it (for work, etc) cause it was tedious!
Also (especially at this point) ur supply will balance itself out depending on how much ur lo nurses so if u drop the pumping sessions, u'll only produce what ur lo wants, FYI u might experience a bit of engorgement, maybe a few blocked ducts (those were some of the signs I noticed that made me realized my lo was starting to wean) but it'll get better once ur body realizes that it doesn't need to produce as much.
