Daycare/School in/around Seaford
We are (hopefully) moving to Seaford in the next couple of months (as long as nothing falls through on this house, like it did for the Jersey house). We have a 3 year old and will have #2 come December (I'll go back to work in March).
Please recommend your daycare/school for your child. We need an early drop off (6:30am being the LATEST drop off) and late pick up. Since DS is 3, I'd like him in nursery school but not sure this is available. Where he is now, has it but not sure if LI has it. I work in the North Bronx and would prefer something around Seaford/Wantagh area - so it's on my way but not too far for days I don't have work.
Pricing would be helpful too.
Thanks ladies!

Children's Nest (Wantagh Location) is amazing especially for that age and time you need.
ETA: If you need daycare for the baby go on the waiting list NOW. I went on the waiting list the minute I peed on the stick LOL They are very popular and the infant waiting list (anywhere) are super long.

Thank you! I have them on the list to call but according to the website they open at 7AM - I start work at 7.

Re: Daycare/School in/around Seaford
Tutor Time opens at 6:30, there are locations in Massapequa and Levittown. My BIL and SIL send my nephew and niece to the Levittown location and so far they have been happy.
I LOVE Toddler Time in Seaford (located at the Little Village school) but they open at 7.
ETA my DD attends a licensed home daycare in Bethpage that opens at 630, and they do school curriculum when they get to pre-school age, but not sure if you are looking for more of a center/school based program.

Levittown might be better. DS goes to an old Tutor Time location and I know someone who used to work at the Massapequa location and she hated it there. The closer to Seaford the better because I really need to drop DS off and get to work. Plus the days we don't have work but he has school, I'd prefer to be close to home. But I know I might have to venture outside my comfort zone.
I'd be interested in looking into a licensed home daycare. While I prefer a center, I don't want to make my search list small because I'm being TOO picky!

They have an early morning session, I think it starts at 6:30am. (Maybe they don't really advertise it, not sure why it isn't on their website. )You pay a small fee to start at 6:30am, it is totally worth it. We absolutely love them. Good Luck! =)

I looked in the same area, the only ones I found that open that early were Tutor Time, The Learning Experience, and Little Rascals, all in Massapequa. I only looked at centers though, nothing in-home.
I called the Children's Nest as well and there was no room for the foreseeable future! So if you do decide to go there, you would definitely need to get on the list EARLY!

Re: Daycare/School in/around Seaford
I second Children's Nest, though my children are in the Merrick location. They do have early drop off at 6:30am, though as another poster said, that is an additional cost.
They had tons of babies start last year, but now there's a bit of a lull. I'd still call to take a tour but I don't think there's a waiting list. Every baby I know got in last year when there was a big "baby boom!"
