When she was around 2 yo we started TTC took 3 years...so don't wait too long you never know. Had no issues conceiving my first.

I wanted kids close in age so we started trying when DS was 8 months old. Got pregnant when he was 9 months old. Kids are 18 months and 10 days apart and while it was really hard for us in the beginning, the older they get (they are 6.5 and almost 8), the more awesome it is. They play so well together and are just the cutest - DD absolutely adores her big brother.

How'd you know
My twins aren't here yet but I know I'm done. We had to use fertility treatments and I knew firmly I wanted to be one and done. And then I got the biggest shock of my life- twins. We are 100% done

I just knew that i wanted my kids to be close in age. When DS#1 was 6 months we have it a whirl and got preggo right away. They are 16 months apart. DS#2 is now 2.5 and we are TTC for #3. I always knew i wanted a 3rd but wasnt ready till a few months ago. I found myself staring at babies wishing I could just cuddle them.

We didn't! After close to two years of infertility for DS1we were shocked when I found out I was preggo with DS2! They are almost 18 months to the day sort and the best of friends!

It took us 7 years. Yup...7 years. DS has ADHD and he's really a handful, not to mention he was a very very difficult baby. Now we're pregnant with #2 and although we planned to have another one, we've agreed that we have to see how this baby is before we decide whether or not to try for #3. If she's a handful like DS, then I think we're done...and I'm totally okay with that. If she's not, then we'll probably start trying for #3 when she's 1 1/2.

I never wanted my kids close in age. DS1 was a tough baby so it took me a while to have any desire to TTC again. My boys are 3.5 years apart and I really like the age difference. We knew we wanted 3, but again didn't want them close together. DS2 has been a handful and for other reasons, we held off longer than originally planned. I did get pregnant at the end of the year, but had an ectopic pregnancy in January. We had a tough winter and wanted to wait before TTC again. Then, a great job opportunity came up that I couldn't turn down. We hope to TTC again in the fall. My boys are 7.5 and almost 4 now. If things work out, the age difference will actually be better for us with having both boys in school.

I knew from the start that I wanted my 2 kids close in age. We began ttc when ds turned 1. Two kids was a given with dh & myself so we never had that back & forth of should we or shouldn't we?
