3 Day Potty HELP
my sister started this yesterday with my nephew he will be 3 next month and its not going very well.
he is holding it in....the second she sees the pee she runs him to the toilet and he screams he gets upset and doesn't want to use the toilet..
this morning when he woke up he cried again when she put him on she tried to get him to walk to the 2nd bathroom (to see if he would go in there) and the second she turned the corner he peeing on the floor
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!

3 Day Potty HELP
Sounds like he's not ready. You don't want it to be a traumatic experience for them and it will only backfire and become a control thing (him holding it in and showing he's in control).
I'd back off and try again in a month or so.

Agree. He's still on the young side, especially for boys.
DS was petrified of sitting on the potty - like shaking and crying. We left him alone and didn't push him. One day he peed on the potty and within a week he asked to wear underwear. He literally trained himself and hardly ever had an accident. I believe that kids will train easily when they're ready. No need to push them, especially when they're still young.

is she using the regular toilet? DD at first wanted nothing to do with the regular one the first day so setup the travel potty I have (which I love cause you use ziplock bags so you just remove and throw out no need for cleaning) and she liked that one better and used that. getting her to use the regular potty after that was easy.
