Do you RSVP to a kid party on the RSVP date?
I RSVP when I can. Sometimes it's right when I get it and sometimes it's the date deadline and yes I have even been late.
It's all for various reasons.

Most in my experience with 2 boys have responded the week of, on, or a few days after the RSVP date.

I only wait till the last minute if I'm unsure if I can attend. Typically, as long as I know I can go, I respond the day I get the invite (otherwise I forget!)

Usually I respond within a couple of days of receiving the invite unless I'm on the fence about whether he will be attending.

I totally used to flake on RSVPing to things. Honestly, out of sheer laziness. Now that I have my own son and and am planning things for him and whatnot and getting late or no RSVP's...I realize how annoying that must have been to my family and friends and now I may sure to RSVP the day I get an invite

Do you RSVP to a kid party on the RSVP date?
I try to do it as soon as possible cause I know how annoying it is to hunt ppl down for their rsvps but just like another poster said if I know there might be something going on, I'll rsvp once I find out for sure, I put the invite on my fridge so I don't forget.

I try to do it as soon as possible. Not the first day I get the invite in the mail but within 2-3 days of that.
Definitely in the first week.
I am hosting a party- the RSVP deadline is this coming Saturday-which will be a week before the party- so far i got 11 responses out of 15 invites.
Not sure if I will hear from anyone else by the deadline. I hope so

People really amaze me. Like it's not hard enough planning for a kid's party you know?
Take 2 minutes and RSVP via text. It couldn't be easier- you don't even have to talk to me.
I usually will put the invite in my bag when I get it so I remember to RSVP

I don't follow up unless it is a good friend of my child. We stopped doing all class parties and our RSVP rate is much better. At least everyone responds because they are all families we have relationships with.
When we used to invite the whole class, some people never responded. I just assume those are no's.
