LI or Queens Restaurant w/ Casual Food for Party
I am looking to do a party at a restaurant but bc it is for a child I want to have more casual food. Burgers, Paninis, Chicken, even French fries.. I do not want chicken parm and calamri etc. I am also not looking for a Kiddie Restaurant, ie Friendly, McDonalds bc there are 10 kids, 40 adults, but I still want low key.. Any nice places that may have this option?

What about your favorite diner? My cousin had her shower at a diner and it was awesome. They had us in a back section - not totally private, but we had the whole area to ourselves. Everyone loves diner food!

Maybe international delight cafe? There is one in Rockville Centre and one in Bellmore.

Trotter's in Franklin Square (used to be Shackleton's)

That's what I was going to say. They close off the room in the back for parties and I'm pretty sure you can bring your own booze because I've seen parties there and there are always wine bottles on the tables!

In queens you have O'Niell's in Maspeth and Collenny's Corner ... also look at Lenny's clam bar in Howard Beach
Bell blvd in Bayside has some great restaurants too
