HELP w/ awful boy's sock trend !
My son (7) has caught on to the horrid high socks w/ shorts trend ..........
What socks am I looking for/buying?
The boys wear them so high they look like soccer socks .........but, everything I'm seeing from Nike, Under Armour etc. just looks like a mid calf crew sock
He keeps asking me for these socks, and I promised him I'd get them, but I don't know what I'm looking for!
TIA !!

Nike Elite socks. Warning: they aren't cheap. My SS also like kd socks (kevin durant's line). He is 10 but has been wearing them for a few years. Now my DH is wearing them

Yup, just the look. my son is 8 and wears his socks pulled up and athletic shorts.
I usually get Nike or Jordan ones at TJ Maxx and Marshalls.

Lol. I just bought the Nike elites for my 10 year old nephew. They aren't cheap. Between him and my nieces funky soccer socks I've spent a shite load of money on socks this year.

Lacrosse socks for my nephew. I get them at a lacrosse store. They're like $20 a pair. He mixes them too. Horrid trend lol.

Ugh my 4 year old, going on 14, has already been eyeing these socks. He'll be in K next year and I guess the kids with older brothers wear them. I'll have to look into Nike outlet. My family is in Lacrosse land, Maryland, so I'll ask them to look to.

Yes, but now they wear it ALL THE TIME. Not just on and off the field and to/from games/practice - it's a fashion trend.

No you're probably right .......I am just wishing and hoping it will end soon !!
Good luck. Any trend that you can't stand lasts much longer than wanted (or needed) lol
