Recovery from birth
My DS will be 2 months this week and I'm still having slight discomfort. I had a second degree tear and the stiches have all dissolved and I was told the area was still tender looking at my 6 week appointment. I feel discomfort in the area when I'm sitting and especially leaning forward while sitting. Is this normal or should I make another appointment if it keeps up?

I'd make another appointment. I had a second degree year that needed to be cauterized at 8 weeks post partum.

I would make another appointment. Hopefully they can do something to help the pain and tell you if something else is going on.
