Anyone been to Couples Swept Away Negril or Secrets Montego Bay?
I am trying to decided on different islands to go to and these two resorts caught my eye. I am looking for a resort that has a good selection of restaurants and bars at night to get a drink at night. Went to Hard Rock in DR a few years ago and shocked there were hardly any bars open at night to have an after dinner drink. Has anyone been to any of these two resorts?

I've never been to Couples but I went to Secrets Wild Orchid 3 years ago. It is two resorts side by side, St James and Wild Orchid.
Most of the restaurants are on the Wild Orchid side. There's a piano bar which was a lot of fun and everyone would sing along. There's the lobby bar on the St James side which was nice but nothing crazy. Most nights the Disco was crowed. Most of the entertainment shows were outside at that end too. Lots of places to sit outside and get drinks in that area.
A lot of the restaurants have outdoor seating. At Secrets resorts you don't need to make reservations or wear a wristband. They have different restaurants, Italian, French, seafood, steak, Japanese and a buffet. You have to make reservations only if you want to eat at the hibachi table at the Japanese restaurant.
Beautiful sunsets. You can snorkel right at the beach. They have a Jerk chicken cart which we had most everyday for lunch. The beach is not miles long where you can walk it's basically only their property.

I've been to secrets montego bay. It seems to meet what you are asking for. It was a nice resort. Not my fave ever but we had a great time and the club was a party atmosphere at night. Had different restaurants. Food was ok. The jerk chicken cart as great and the coconuts on the beach! We hit rain when we went so can't say too much about beach or pool atmosphere in the day (only went for a long weekend).

Couples Swept Away is a long, miserable bus ride from the airport. It also doesn't have much to do at night.

Couples Swept Away is a long, miserable bus ride from the airport. It also doesn't have much to do at night.
It is a loooong bus ride. We went with another couple so we always found something to do at night. It was a beautiful resort and well worth the ride. Still one of the best vacations I've ever been on.
