Renting a car through Priceline
This is actually for a local trip, but I am renting a car from Budget through Priceline this weekend.
Is there anything I should know? The price is $86 (and they have a deposit of $200 on the cc I was told)
Anyone ever have any issues?

I did it once but I don't remember paying a deposit and didn't have any issues. If you do it, try to find coupon codes online. Check hot wire too, I have rented through them several times and got great deals. If any issues come up, I think they are usually caused by rental companies and not because of renting through hotwire or priceline.

Oh I thought all car rental companies required a deposit on a cc. Enterprise always does one

I've used Priceline for a rental car a couple of times. Never had any issues and always got a great deal. One time they upgraded us to the next level vehicle for free. I dont recall there being a cc hold.

I always use Priceline. Their app on the iphone usually has really good prices and many you pay at the desk when you check in. Never had an issue. They always put a hold on money (which is many companies dont take debit cards)

I did name your price through priceline for a Florida trip. You definitely had to pay in advance for that. I declined all other fees and coverage.
The only thing I remember being an "issue" was that through priceline, they didn't allow spouses to drive the car without an additional fee (this was in FL so I don't know if it is location specific) We skipped the fee and my wife just didn't drive.
basically its like every other car rental excpt you paid in advance. Tehy still try and get you to buy the various crap including prepaid gas.
