Healthy snack for classroom bday party?
DD2s preschool is fairly "strict" on not allowing cupcakes, brownies, cake etc for birthdays. They request healthier options. All I can think of are banana muffins (or other muffins), fruit skewers (but worried about the pointy stick) or apple sauce.
Any other more fun ideas? Preferably something I don't have to spend too much of my Mother's Day making (her bday is Monday). lol.
TIA!

I like the fruit skewer idea, you can buy plastic drink stirrers to use instead of the pointy sticks and maybe put a few marshmallows on there too. I also saw this on pinterest recently too...

I was going to suggest fruit salad, maybe put it in little cups so the skewer isn't an issue.

Pirates booty is usually safe. It's nut free and gluten free.

This. Berry allergies are pretty common in young kids, so that makes me nervous about the fruit skewer idea.

I did rainbow colored fruit skewers and I made some of the fruit into hearts.
I also did little sundaes with frozen yogurt, carob chips and strawberries.
