My kids love visiting different cities and want to check out Boston. They are 6 and 8. I want to do a mix of educational and fun. Also sports stuff. Pls recommend the nicest and most convenient hotels, must sees and restaurants would be great thanks! Oh and going end of April. Thx so much!

The Children's Museum is really nice. They might also like the Duck Boat Tour, and walking the Freedom Trail is a must do.

We went to the Boston Tea Party Museum and did a Freedom Trail tour. The kids really like both.

Thanks for posting this! We are going in the end of May. For those who have gone, did you get the Go Boston Card for discounts? I have a 5 and 7 year old. I am not sure if it is worth it. On my list so far is to walk the Freedom Trail, Boston Tea Party museum, Science Museum and maybe the aquarium.

As that the others have said. There is a small playground by the waterfront, with a nice restaurant called Joe's American Bar & Grill right there. These are right near the Marriott Long Wharf (we have stayed here, great location).
You also should do a DUCK tour. The kids will love that.
My favorite hotels are the Long Wharf Marriott (has an indoor pool, not bad, not great) and Copley Place Marriott. My favorite restaurant is Stephanie's on Newbury. LOVE that place. Copley Pl Marriott is a great location also and has a nice attached walkway inside to the shopping mall (great for a rainy day).

I will echo what everyone has said:
Science Museum Children's Museum New England Aquarium Freedom Trail Duck Tour - absolute must! I did this as an adult and loved it.
Also: Boston Public Garden - Make Way for Ducklings statue. Super cute to take photos with and you will recognize the statue once you see it. The swan boats are also here.
Previous poster mentioned Joe's. Very good and that's on Newbury Street. Fun to walk down Newbury with the kids. Lots of shopping and restaurants. Grab coffee, ice cream.
Not sure if your kids will sit through it but maybe a Red Sox game.
Have fun! I went to college in Boston and love it! Now I want to go with my kids! Lol

Aquarium, duck tour, Newbury Street, the park (I forget what it's called but it's like central park), and a Red Sox game
