Airfare from NY to Orlando
What is typically a good price for NY to Orlando? I'm looking at August and round trip it is $276. That is nonstop from JFK and it's an early morning there and evening back. Thanks!
Update: So I went to book and its down to $252 roundtrip for the same flights...do I book it now or wait and see?? I hate this waiting game...Saving $24 each (we're 5 people) is nice, but more would be even better!

I believe that IS a good price. I just booked a non-stop round trip flight from Islip to Orlando in August for $360 on Sourhwest. You did well!

i fly out of newark, bc i live in NJ... last august, we went to Disney and paid about that-- i felt like we got a good deal. I had been running searches on Kayak.com like every day HAHA until a good price popped up one day LOL

I believe that IS a good price. I just booked a non-stop round trip flight from Islip to Orlando in August for $360 on Sourhwest. You did well!
Southwest's prices are insane for August...I typically don't fly Southwest for a variety of reasons, but would have considered it if the prices weren't so crazy!

I assume you searched on a site like kayak for prices across different airlines and airports?
I don't usually go to Orlando in the summer but I have noticed that jetblue eventually will do a big sale (i.e. under $200) for very specific days of the week - usually if you can fly say Tuesday to Tuesday.
That doesn't sound atrocious. If your dates are inflexible, I would book. If not, you might be able to do a bit better by continuing to search or catching a sale. Don't wait too long, though.

Airfare from NY to Orlando
We are going in June and our flights were 350 per person round trip from JFK to Dayton on Jet blue. When we get to Daytona we'll drive to Orlando in our rental car. It was over $400 per person to fly from JFK to Orlando when we booked. I think you got a good price.

Does that take into account the baggage fees? They all charge now except for Southwest. I'm always willing to pay a little more on Southwest because it includes 2 bags each, AND because I'm 20 minutes from ISP. I hate going to JFK or LGA.

We're going at the end of Sept/beginning of Oct and it was $250, including a bag, on JetBlue.

$276 is very good and seems to be the standard. We go to Disney a lot have been paying $275-300 lately. We are going the beginning of May and we're paying $320.

We always fly Southwest from MacArthur to Tampa when we go to Disney. It's typically cheaper and only about an hour drive from Tampa to Orlando. That of course if you're already planning on renting a car (we never stay onsite at Disney since we have a timeshare)

Just got back yesterday.
Paid $79 each way with Jetblue, going/coming JFK. Went Tuesday - Sunday.
We only had carry-on's.

That's a pretty good deal for the time you're going- I have 2 trips coming up and we're paying slightly less
First week of June ISP to MCO, paying $224 round trip, and 3rd week in June ISP to PBI paying $273 round trip. Flying SW both trips

That is the current going rate. We go to disney every year, and I noticed costs were up this year when trying to finalize our flights.

We are going Passover week and RT to Orlando was $900pp on Jet Blue.
U-N-B-E-L-I-E-V-A-B-L-E!!!!
All the airlines were insane that week.
Thank goodness I had travel points I was able to use otherwise we would not be going lol.
