Hotel cribs - what's the going rate?

The only hotel we've stayed in where we've needed a crib is Eden in Lancaster and they're free Chat Icon I'm assuming you have to pay a fee at most other hotels? if so, how much have you spent and where was it?

Trying to price out our road trip down to Disney to the last penny Chat Icon

ETA- this would be for your average roadside hotel/motel off I-95 in North/South Carolina, not when we get to Disney

I've never heard of paying for a crib (usually pack and play). We've stayed at various hotels me never paid. For Disney we stayed in a dvc suite and every suite has one in the closet.

We didn't have to pay for a crib when we went to Disney back in December. We stayed on property - but I don't think that really mattered.

Sorry, I edited my original post, this isn't for a crib in Disney.. we're driving down and I'm asking about what it would cost at an average road side hotel

Ah ok - I don't think you have to pay for one either.

Never paid for one in the last 5 years.
Always get one.
Availability may be spotty though if you don't know where you are staying.

Roadside motels might not have them. I think it just depends on where you stay. I would probably just bring your own pack n play

Re: Hotel cribs - what's the going rate?

Thanks everyone, what a pleasant surprise... I assumed that because you have to pay for a rollaway you'd also have to pay for a crib. We don't have room in the car for a PnP, DS is big enough to sleep in a bed, if a crib isn't available.

Thanks again!

Hotel cribs - what's the going rate?

I was just looking through hotels for a vacation we're taking in April. Most of the hotels had free cribs, but there were a few that charged $10/night for a rollaway bed or crib. We are bringing our own Pack'n'play anyway.
