Baby not rolling over yet...
Ds is 4.5 months old and very healthy. Laughs grabbing toys holding his head up etc...but he has not rolled yet. During tummy time he holds his head up and looks around but is not interested in rolling at all. When on his back he will grab his feet and roll side to side but doesnt make it over. He is a big boy 18lbs and in the 99th percentile for height and weight. My daughter who was also big was rolling by now. Am i being worried for nothing?

I would give it till 6 months but in the meantime just keep giving lots of opportunity.

My DD was well over 5 months. She was very big for her age. Everything else was on time so I wasn't really worried. I'd give it a little longer.

DS rolled over only like 4 times before 9 months. At that point, he could sit and crawl. I wouldn't be too concerned yet.

DD1 rolled over like twice. It just wasn't something she did. Some kids skip milestones and all develop at their own pace.

Re: Baby not rolling over yet...
I think some kids just aren't interested in rolling over. My younger son would so rarely roll over, like blink & you'd miss it... but he's been on track with all other physical milestones. He still doesn't roll much & never goes on his stomach on purpose at all.

My DS only started rolling like 2 weeks ago and he's 9 months old. My ped said not to worry about it because he was sitting up independently. Give it a little more time and see how he develops. He might just be lazy like my Pudgie.

Re: Baby not rolling over yet...
My DS rolled over for the first time around 5 months old. Then he saw how much work it took and he didn't do it again until 6 months He did it more and more as he got older and now at 8 months he flips over and over to get to where he wants to go lol
I agree, give it time - all kids hit milestones at different rates
