Where to go for ear piercing for baby?
I plan to get my DD ears pierced when she turns 5 or 6 months. Where did you go on Long Island to get it done?

We went to Squires in East Northport - they are known for their ear piercing. They were awesome, did both ears at the same time and were quick.

I took DD1 to Frank & Fran's in wantagh when she was 6 months. They were referred by my pediatrician and did a great job. I'll take DD2 there in June when she's 6 months also.

We went to piercing pagoda at smithaven yesterday. Had both ears done at the same time. She cried for maybe 45 seconds.

If and when ... a tattoo parlor
They are clean - their tools are always kept very clean
They are professionals - Not some college kid at Claires
They are experienced - That's all they do is tattoo and pierce
Unfortunately, AJ wants nothing to do with pierced ears. Even though I have two piercings in both ears and both of us are tattooed, we do not believe in making choices for our child with life long results for cosmetic reasons. So we waited. Now it's up to her. Currently she's in no hurry to get them.
She loves looking at mine but won't even play with clip ons. Go figure.

Frank and Fran's in wantagh. Frank is the best! My parents have been using him as their jeweler for years, and he was so meticulous and caring with my daughter. I even brought her there once so he could change her earrings because I was having trouble getting them off her!
