Two toddler questions -naps and eating
My twins are 17 months. Just wondering what time, if your toddlers are taking only one nap - what time they take it? Mine are down to the one nap - but with me at 10:30 and then for babysitter its at 12. Not sure which is better, both seem to work. My older DS was always on earlier side too though - did early lunch at 11 and then he went down at 11:30. I wonder if I had pushed him later if he would've napped until a later age- haha! He gave it up at 2.5!
Also - high chairs, when do you move them to the table with a booster seat? I forget. Although right now I think still easier to clean mess from high chair then at the table. TIA!

Re: Two toddler questions -naps and eating
Dd napped after lunch (mostly because that was the daycRe schedule once she was in the age group where they all followed the same routine), about 11:45-1:30.
Dd was in a booster at the table by 1year10mos. but I wish I kept her in the high chair longer. She was out of the booster at her insistence by 2.5. She's a stubborn child!

Two toddler questions -naps and eating
DS goes down for a nap sometime between 12-1 depending upon when we eat lunch. He naps for 1-3 hours. Daycare always gets 2+ hours. We get maybe 90 minutes.
At 22 months, DS switches between the high chair and the booster seat. He's probably been doing this since 19-20 months.

Two toddler questions -naps and eating
Dd is 20 mo
She goes down for a nap any time between 1030-1 depending on the day
She's been out of a high chair for awhile now. Sometimes she'll sit in a booster sometimes she says no.

Re: Two toddler questions -naps and eating
I think at 17 months, ds1 was still taking 2 naps, but later on, when we has taking only 1 nap, actually he's still taking 1 nap (for the most part), it started to be all over the place with the time. I've noticed though that the earlier he takes his nap, the longer he can sleep and the least of a hard time he gives me for bedtime.
Regarding high chairs, to me nothing was easier than cleaning his bumbo chair/tray! But he outgrew it at like 8 months or so. Once he was done using his high chair, he was fine sitting at the table with us without the need of a booster seat.i think this happened at like 2 1/2 yrs old.

Re: Two toddler questions -naps and eating
My twins have been down to one nap for a couple of months now. We give them lunch before the nap, size of the lunch depends on what time they ate breakfast. Nap usually starts anywhere we from 10:45-11:30. I need them to be up by 1:30ish so I can pick up my older DD from school. If I didn't have to do that I would push them back to a later nap (12/1 start time) bc I would be out of the house running errands or at the park before nap time. That's what I did with my older DD and it worked well.
Still using the highchairs at this point too!
