Battery Park - lower manhattan with kids
I'm bringing the kids to the statue of Liberty tomorrow and I'm looking for an additional few things to do with them afterwards.
Embarrassingly, I can't remember when the last time I was anywhere down that way.
kids are 9 and two 7 year olds.
need fun eats places too

Head towards Battery Park City. Lots of fun playgrounds along the water and very family friendly places to eat. There is a Shake Shack and a Blue Smoke which we like.

We did this over the summer, we literally just wandered around and found so many fun parks nad stuff to do and ate at Shake Shack.
We did the One World Observatory too and ate at Blue Smoke after that too

The 9-11 memorial garden is not too far from there if you would want to see that.

Check out Brookfield Place and hang out on the marina. There is a beautiful park/walkway along the Hudson
