How much for weekend babysitting?
I was asked by a friend of a friend if I would be interested in weekend babysitting. She is a waitress so her hours would vary. Child is 18 months old. My dd loves said child. The extra money would be great but I don't know what is a reasonable amount to charge. Should I do hourly or.a set rate?

this answer is going to be very different from each person how many hour is it going to be. IMO if its more than a few hours I would charge hourly but a flat fee. I assume she is bring her to you and you have your own child at all times, if it was an all day thing I personally probably wouldn't charge more than $50 for the day.

I was thinking $50 too for the day. I thought that was reasonable too since the hours will vary. Yeah the child will just be added to my routine and household.

I have found the going rate is $10 an hour.
