Car rental discounts
I need to rent a mini van from the airport in Orlando the first week of May. The prices I'm getting are RIDICULOUS - $600+. Any good strategies for getting a good rate on a rental or where I can find a discount code?

go on booking and carrentals.com see what they are going for then go on priceline and offer a ridiculously low rate. thats what we do. but youre talking about a minivan in orlando...

Are you a member of BJ's or Costco? I've booked my cars on using BJ's corp codes/coupon codes before and gotten a good deal

Go on costcotravel.com and Hotwire and check their rates. Then start looking directly for coupon codes to the rental agencies. You can even search for minivan rental specials and see what pops up.

This. I have found Dollar to have lower prices than even BJs and Costco for minivans.
Also - monitor it every day/couple of days as the prices fluctuate. I have found that the prices tend to be lower in the mornings than afternoons even.
