High back 5 point harness booster? Which one?

Re: After convertible car seat...
Yes, we got a highback 5 pt booster that converts to a highback seatbelt and a backless booster. We switched when he was about 3.5 b/c his brother needed the convertible. We have the Graco Argos. I like the seat itself, but it's a huge pain to uninstall. If you're not going to move it ever then I'd recommend. If you need to move it a lot I'd say stay away. He's almost 5 now and still using the 5 pt harness. He's a peanut so we'll keep him that way for a while.

After convertible car seat...
Dd1 is tall. At her 2 1/2 year appointment at the end of December she was: 37 1/2" (90th percentile) 30.4lbs (75th percentile)
when dd2 is ready to go into a convertible seat I was thinking of making the switch for both of them.
I'd want a seat that starts as 5 point harness, then high back seatbelt and then backless.
Don't plan on moving the seat ever bc dh will have one in his car too m
Right now she's in the britax advocate. How are the britax boosters?

I'm looking now too. My DS is 4 and only 32lbs and 40" so he could stay in his seat for a while but we started looking. I want to go to the store. I need to see in person to be able to make a decision.

After convertible car seat...
we have the BRitax pioneer and a graco equivalent (can't remember the name) Britax is by far the better seat. It is so much easier to install and harness than the Graco. We have owned 2 graco seats and just hate them. The buckles are so hard to use and they are a pain to install.
The only issue I have with the Britax is that is doesn't go to low bacck booster but they are so cheap it doesn't matter, just would have been nice.

DS is 5... and he's in a Britax frontier. its a high back harness booster that goes to one with the seat belt.... it doesn't convert to a backless booster--- but those are so cheap i wasn't really worried about that. i love the seat... and he's on the smaller side, so i plan to keep him it in for awhile...

After convertible car seat...
She stayed in her Recaro Convertible 5pt harness until it expired and then she was in an eddie bauer convertible until she was nearly 7 and I moved her into a booster. Although I wanted a 5point booster, it just didn't make sense for us at the time. Recaro makes a great one, though.
She'll be 8 in August and so she's just on the lower part now. I felt a convertible was fine for her up until 7. Hubby sort of sprung it on me one day and she had a booster in his truck and a convertible in my car for a long time before I finally had to give up my car and ended up with the booster and it sort of stuck.

Re: After convertible car seat...
We starting switching DD to the Britax Frontier booster shortly after her 4th birthday. We have one in all cars and like how it fits her. Its a 5 point harness still.
