first time at movies?

when did you first take your kid to the movies?
dd will sit and pretty much watch almost a whole movie on the couch now, but they are movies she's seen a million times.

she'll be 3 soon

We just brought DS for the first time this week. He's three and a half. He got a little bored after the first hour, but made it through the whole movie alright.

We took DS for his 4th birthday to see Minions and he did great. Better than we expected. I took him to see Peanuts a few months later and he got a little antsy but still did well.

We took DS a month before he turned 3. We went to the Levittown theater with the big comfy recliners, so it was more of an incentive for him to stay seated. We also brought his stuffed animal so he could cuddle. He was newly potty trained, so we did have to get up a few times for the potty, but other than that, he did great!

we brought DD just past 2.5 years to see Frozen. She sat on my lap the whole time but really liked it and shes been going to the movies ever since.
