Girls and toddlers sizes
What is the difference between 4T and girls 4? I'm confused.
Is this like the 24 months/2T that was equally as silly and confusing ?

2t is longer than 24months
4 is slimmer than 4t bc 4t has room for a diaper.
At least that's my theory.

I find 4T to be slightly smaller than size 4. If you check out some size charts on kid clothes websites, the 4 is just a little bigger.

Looked at carters. Still confused
DD is skinny and average height. Potty trained. A lot of pants fall down at the waist. Should I even bother with 4T or go right to 4 since no diaper?

Go with whatever fits her.
Dd is 2 1/2. Potty trained. She's 90th percentile for height and weight. She's in 4t. Length is good, but they're still a little loose around the waist.

In Gymboree, the 4T & 4 are the same.
Same with 5T & 5.
Both my kids never wore diapers past 2 & are still rocking T sizes at 5.5 for my boy. They have more pull down pants (vs zipper fly) in T sizes.

For my DS - I found that regular size 4 was more like a 5T.

DD outgrew 4T but then fit great in 4 or 4/5
