Looking for a good vacuum recommendation (please not Dyson).
Thank you!
want something light but very powerful. I have a cat that sheds like crazy so I vacuum a lot.

Vacuum Recommedation
I do NOT like my shark vacuum. It gets great reviews and people love but I hate it.

Oh really? I actually just got a Shark Rotator Power Lift Away (the maroon one) and I think it's great. AMAZING suction, my rugs are so clean!
ETA - It's only about $250 and you can make monthly payments if you order through their website.

Vacuum Recommedation
what I don't like about it is the tools. The arm extender is not big enough and everything clogs it. Plus there is no place to store it. I also don't like stretchy tube to use the extender. It is so tight. The vacuum falls over all the time. I have had this for 2 years and it hasn't got better. The other tools on the side are ok but the stretchy tube makes it hard to use. I wind up unclogging the tube more often that I should and it takes longer to vacuum than it should. But like i said I am in the minority. I have the rotator lift away

Re: Vacuum Recommedation
Shocked about the shark bc I love mine too
Shark navigator lift away
It cleans the floors so well and gets all the dog hair up. I love the attachment for the couches too. I've had quite a few before this and this one is the best for my needs. With a 100+ lb Rottweiler, who sheds like its her job, it keeps up very well
You can buy it at BB&B and use coupon. Worse case if u hate it, just return. They'll take it back

That's what I have too, the Rotator Lift Away.

Re: Vacuum Recommedation
Love my Shark it's the best vacuum I've ever owned. But I do agree about the extension arm thing it is stiff. I have the lift away so iis fine when I take the canister off.

Hate mine also. It's the liftaway one, and it weighs 10 tons. The suction sucks on it now...worked great at first when I got it like 6 months ago. I clean the filter, but then it still doesn't suck that well. It's also cumbersome to use the hose, the entire vacuum falls over. Worst vacuum ever, and it was like $250!

Re: Vacuum Recommedation
Thanks for the recs!
I was definitely leaning towards a shark - but based on the reviews, maybe I will try the navigator as opposed to the rotator.

I have the navigator and the rocket. LOVE both of them. Both clean the hardwood and carpets awesome. I keep the rocket upstairs and the navigator downstairs. Totally worth having both.

Re: Vacuum Recommedation
I recently bought the Hoover Wind tunnel Air and I really like it. It's very light and picks up very well. It's on sale at Kohls (starting 2/11) and then you can use 30%.
