I know everyone says do not do all inclusive in Aruba but we absolutely love all inclusive. Are there any that you recommend? We usually only stay at 4-5 star resorts.

We stayed at the Riu all inclusive last April. Loved it! Didn't worry have to worry about melting drinks or breakfast or lunch. We stayed 5 nights and 3 nights ate at the hotel and 2 nights ate out. However each night after dinner we go into town. We spent a nice chunk of money but we felt it was well worth it.

Did you travel with kids? That's our thing, we don't want to have to pack up to get food. Like the idea that town is safe to go afterwards though

No we didn't travel with kids. (One Riu is adults only the other is not if you decide to book just make sure you check.) There were a decent number of kids there of all different ages. The pool and the beach are all close to get to the main buffet place. Also, the Riu is one of the first hotels on the main road. For the beach it is nice because it stays pretty quiet. If your kids are young though you may need a stroller when you head into town depending where you go. My parents go every other year (stay at the Riu) so when we do have kids we plan on making the trip still. Hope that helps some!

Aruba4u.com is who I book with and they offer all-inclusive packages at a lot of the hotels in the high rise section.
