Thanks for all the replies. I am leaning towards full day, but I can't shake that feeling that after a few hours, she's going to wonder where we are...Ugh! I hate this.
Trust me she will be fine. I think its harder on us than them! lol.
True story. I'm a mess. I don't know how I'm going to make it until September.

Re: Preschool - half day or whole day
DD2 is in 5 half days now at Montessori(she's 3.5) and will go 5 full days in the Fall for pre-k because that is what our public school offers. She's definitely ready for the full days after doing half days this whole year.
Of course our area is so over-crowded I'm praying she even gets into the public school! She will hopefully get sibling priority.

Preschool - half day or whole day
My DS goes 5 half days, but on Mon & Wed he does an enrichment program in the afternoon where they learn science & cook. He loves it!
He had a bit of a rough time adjusting at first bc some of his classmates are not in the afternoon session, so he would wonder when we were going to pick him up and then when we wouldn't show up, he would get upset. Now he understands that some of his friends come in the afternoon, and others don't and he's ok with it. He knows Mommy always comes back for him. LOL

Re: Preschool - half day or whole day
I put my 3 yo triplets in full time this past fall and it was the best thing I ever did. All are thriving and learning and live their teachers and friends. Plus I have a badly needed break, and I even had enough time to get a part time job. For my family it has been win win but to each her own :)

I voted full day. Dd1 is 2 and she goes 3 days a week from 915-1215. Next year she will be going 9-2. That's what the school offers. I'm not doing 5 days although most of the other kids are. Too me that's too much at 3.
Similar. I also voted full day. My DD is also 2 but does 2 days this year (third day was full ) from 9-12:30p. We will be doing 5 days next year at 3yo from 9-1:45p. DH and I both work FT. DD is a handful and my parents watch her and baby DS. So for us it works all around. DD loves school and is stimulated and enriched and my parents get a bit of a break. It's just super expensive!
It really is harder for us than them. She will be fine mama!
