High fever & Pink eye for 6 days
I'm at my wits end. My 3 year old got pink eye and a fever on Sunday. Took her to the Ped on Monday got drops for the pink eye and said fever was viral. Pink eye did not respond to drops in fact it got much worse. Tuesday she threw up all day long. Went back to the Ped yesterday still having fevers of 103 and horrible pink eye. My Ped says its most likely adenovirus which I looked up on line and I think it is likely that. Ped gave me a script for a stronger antibiotic eye drop but it didn't help in fact it's now in both eyes. My Ped said the drops won't work for eyes if it is a virus. My poor dd is just miserable. Crying constantly because of her eyes, barely sleeping or eating. Has anyone else has experience with this virus. This is by far the worst virus I've ever seen.

High fever & Pink eye for 6 days
Had to look it up on the cdc website and it does sound terrible. Between my two girls they've had 6 of the 10 symptoms listed in the last 3 weeks. The past week has been the worst though. Now they're both mostly better and fever free but still have nasty coughs.

OH NO!!!!! My dd has been complaining that her eye is hurting and its red....now she has a fever!!! Please no I can't have another week of sick kids!
How are your DD's feeling?

My two year old had this and it went around his daycare. He came down with a fever then had red watery eyes for a good 5 days. Would not respond to eye drops since it was viral pink eye. It was terrible his eyes just watered non stop. Then my husband got the pink eye no fever and it lasted a good week, eye drops did nothing for it.

How are your DD's feeling?
Her fever finally broke yesterday and today is the first day her eye is starting to look better. This was one of the worst viruses my kids have ever had. 6 Days of 102+ fever and awful pink eye. I hope we never get this virus again. I hope your dd doesn't have this virus.

oh no poor girl!
Her eye is just red and she says it hurts. Her fever is pretty high too. 102-103 with alternating tylenol and motrin. It goes down to 100 for like and hour and goes right back up.
She looks awful!

Yes, my son had it along with a bunch of other kids in the neighborhood.
DS had a high fever 104/105 for about 6 days. He threw up a couple of times but not like a true stomach bug. Not really much of an appetite, just really lethargic but was drinking fluids so I wasn't too worried.
After fever finally broke he complained of his legs hurting. The next day he seemed to bounce back.
Other kids seemed to have a sore throat and pink eye. All viral--not sure why they gave antibiotic eye drops if viral?
Hope you're LO is doing better, hang in there!
