Childrens shoe store
Does anyone know of/recommend any children's shoe stores or booteries near wantagh? As I just had a c-section, I'm looking for a small place in a strip mall or standalone. Please no mall/outlet recommendations! Tia!

That one closed last year. That's where I used to go as a kid. Lol, I've passed by three store locations that came up in a Google search but are no longer in business. I guess they are a dying breed.

Weird that stride rite still lists it.
A bit further, but I think One Small Step in Woodbury is still open. You could look for a famous footwear or payless. Or buy online if you know the size.

Hey Christina, I know you dont wanna go to the mall but the Stride Rite in the mall right near us is super eay to get to. We park near the entrance and it is like a 5 minute walk inside. We went last Saturday as soon as it opened and it was totally empty. The lady inside was helpful and quick. I don't even think we were there 20 minutes! lol

There's a Stride Rite on Merrick Rd in Merrick. Small strip mall and easy to get to.
