online savings account
I am thinking of opening an online savings account to put money in account that I kind of "forget" I have. what do I need to know?
any recommendations? I don't want to pay fees have no minimum balance.

capital one 360 checking is free. all online. open a 360 checking and then you can link sub savings accounts to it. i do it for all my budgeting accounts and transfer $$ from TD bank.
i set it and forget it

We have a high yield savings account at Synchrony Bank. We set it and forget it! No fees or minimum balances and high interest rates (1.05%)

I tried to set one up thru AMEX, it was a mess. I ended up giving up and closing it.
This was years ago, maybe they've fixed their system since then.

I use digit it's a website that rounds my money off and puts it in a savings account they send me text messages with my balance and I can save more or save less whenever I want. I don't even miss the $ I love it.

the bluebird by amex?? I had that and I dont think you can open the sub savings accounts. I didnt like it so I never put anything in it and finally they closed the account.

capitalone360 works great for me. I use it as a vacation fund. They have no fees and using the ATM card overseas is a breeze (no fees, great exchange rate)

from what I can see I don't think it is. I think its one just like other online savings account.
