What's your fav stage?

LOL to above poster. I feel you some days.

3 has been a really fun age for us (for the most part). She is so excited about everything and can do so much more. But I think I felt that way about every age at some point. Mostly after she started talking.

I'll tell you when she hits it Chat Icon
I kid, I kid.
I'd say starting at 2'ish, when she could talk and communicate, etc.

Re: What's your fav stage?

My DD is almost 2.5 and I love this age. It's my favorite so far. Teething is done, she sleep and naps, she communicates, and is doing things on her own. She will ask to cuddle and knows how to express or get what she wants.
And Christmas was just amazing. I can't imagine it getting better than this. Chat Icon

Hated the newborn stage. She's is just over 2 and I'm enjoying the interaction and slight independence she's developing. If I have another, I'd like to skip right past the newborn phase Chat Icon

Re: What's your fav stage?

DD is 3.5 yr old. I love this stage. She is thriving so well in her pre-school class and she gets so excited to tell me what she's learning and loves to sing the songs that she is taught. She is also is a very caring and lovable kid. She loves to give hugs and when she sees that I am upset or nor feeling good, she'll come over to me, hop on my lap, hug me and tells me "Mommy. It will be alright" as she strokes me hair. Chat Icon And then once the tantrums start I think to myself "Is it time for you to go away to college yet??" Chat Icon

I'm dreading three for this reason. My 20 month old already has a very stubborn personality...

To answer my ?

While I agree a newborn is all cute and cuddly, I hate the no sleep, crying and not knowing why, etc.

By far, the best so far is 5!

And worst is 3!

It's the best! You will love it! Even the Kindergarten teacher was saying how much she enjoys them (she has taught other grades) and how they just want to freeze them all at this age.
It's definitely magical! Chat Icon

3-9 months old ...they become interactive yet can't get into trouble yet

Fro my DS 3 was terrible but for my DD ... I like 3 ...she does not get into too much trouble but is so much fun and is very affectionate.

DS is 4 1/2 mos right now and I literally want to eat him. He is delicious. DD is 2 1/2 and is starting to communicate more, which is definitely helpful.

I think every age has pros and cons. I found 1-2 to be very hard with DD, but that may be because of who she is. Babies are also hard but just so precious and it goes so fast! I just want to soak it in. Toddlerhood is flying by too. Chat Icon

What's your fav stage?

So far I love them all but they all also have their downfalls.

My kids as newborns were fantastic. STTN pretty much from birth. DD2 is only 3.5 months so she's still in the early infant stage. A bit colicky which is difficult to deal with bc she obviously can't tell me what's wrong. DD1 is 21.5 months and so much fun. She sings songs, helps around the house, plays independently, and talks up a storm. She also understands a lot and has a mind like a sponge. Sometimes I forget that she's not even 2. But the downside is that she's also in the 'I do it' stage, has selective hearing, and is stubborn.

So far I haven't really hated any stage but my kids are still young lol.

Re: What's your fav stage?

2-3yo was my favorite for DS. He was my little buddy. 3+ has been very challenging(to put it nicely) His newborn stage to age 1 was tough as well.. My current 7 month old has been very easy (other then her night time sleeping) after about 12 weeks of age

Re: What's your fav stage?

I've loved and embraced every stage. They go so fast.... Now at just about 2.5 my ds is the sweetest most kindhearted child. I love his innocence, and of course being able to communicate with me like a legit little person is so much fun. I definitely miss him as a 7lb newborn though... So yeah like I said, every stage is my favorite, just for different reasons.

I also keep in mind that one day he will be a man, and I will give anything to get back even my hardest day as a mom just to have him small again Chat Icon

I LOVE love love newborn stage. Wish i could do it again. Chat Icon

7 months was good when they sat up and easily entertained. My youngest is 15 months now. Love this stage. He is so happy when you walk into a room!! Chat Icon

There really hasn't been a stage i didn't like.

But i also think it comes down to personalities too.

My oldest is 7 1/2 and i hate how old he's getting.

My middle is 4 next month. I HATED the 2-3 year stage for HIM, but that was because of hearing issues that led to speaking issues and lots of hitting/outbursts, etc etc.

Right now my DD is around 6 months and I love it. We are past the newborn stage where they are just pretty much eating and sleeping all day. She has recently started sleeping through the night consistently so that is a plus too!
