Periods after ectopic pregnancy?
I'm on my 2nd cycle after my ectopic pregnancy and tube removal. My OB had told me that the first AF after the surgery would likely be very heavy and painful. But, I had the exact opposite. It was very short (maybe 3 - 4 days in total) and very very light. So light in fact that I only needed a tampon for 1 of the days, and even then, I probably could have gotten away without wearing one. My OB was a bit surprised when I had told him that. Now I'm on my 2nd AF cycle since the ectopic and again, its super light. No cramps or other AF symptoms whatsoever. I mean, if it weren't for the very little bit of spotting and the fact that I know I'm due for AF right now, I wouldn't even know I was menstruating.
I'm just curious if anyone else has had a similar experience. I'm getting worried that my cycles are not going back to normal and we might have a hard time conceiving again

i had the exact same as you- I thought it would be really heavy, but it actually was very light. However, the 2nd cycle was pretty heavy (but i took clomid that cycle so i'm not sure if that affected it). I didn't have a 3rd cycle because I got pregnant.

Ok, this makes me feel much better. I'll probably put in a call to my OB just to see what he thinks, but hopefully all is fine and my body is still just adjusting back to normal.

the cycles I used clomid my periods were sooo heavy. Brutal :(
