Going up size on pacifiers

Pacifiers I use come in 0-6 months and 6-12. DD loves her pacifier and I am wondering if it is important to go up to next size? If so why and was there any issue with changing pacifier?

Re: Going up size on pacifiers

When my son was 7 months old, he still had one of the 0-6 month soothie brand pacifiers and he got the entire thing in his mouth and it almost got lodged in his throat. So yes, I would move up sizes.

I'm not sure what kind you use, but he never took to the 6 month plus soothie kind. He loves the mam brand ones though.

Going up size on pacifiers

We moved up sizes and she seemed happy. The little ones now tend to fall out of her mouth.

Re: Going up size on pacifiers

We went up sizes b/c the smaller just seemed too small for her. Unfortunately, she had used the nuk one piece silicone, and they did not make that beyond 0-6 mos. Luckily for me, she took to the regular nuk silicone once introduced, but i was worried for awhile!

We just went up to the 6+ size in the MAM brand and they are so much better. The 0-6 ones started popping out of her mouth anytime she sucked on them and the actual nipple is significantly longer in the next size. I find that she falls asleep faster with the bigger size because they are staying in her mouth.

Ditto - word for word (except DS in my case)
