Re: are they for real??
They require ALL of that and all you can hope for is $14/hr????? That's completely ridiculous.
Hold out a little while longer for a job at McDonalds, you'll make more and probably do less.

Yep see it all the time. Supposedly my years are service will equal the college degree.

Re: are they for real??
But if you look at what's going on at a lot of colleges, re: social promotion and turning the other way at cheating/plagiarism, you can see why.
Degrees from some places are not worth what they once were. Like the new junior high.
Literacy and professionalism are so prized, though, that if you have them...you will always be wanted.

Re: are they for real??
Yes. They want years of experience, have a lengthy list of job requirements, and demand a college degree for $14.00 an hour. A teenager makes more money babysitting or working in a restaurant!
Better to not bother with these jobs, the owners may nickel and dime you to death anyway.

Definitely....now you need a masters and experience to have a foot up on others and even that could be considered entry level.

True and sad. Which I why I think it's ridiculous to go to these 50K-60K/year colleges these days - you come out hundreds of thousands in debt and cannot even get a job.

Re: are they for real??
I had DD very young and while I worked in customer/service and sales for a few years I ended up getting married and having 2 more kids. I babysat for 9 years for extra money. now my kids are all in school full time so I no longer need to just babysit.....but after looking for a few weeks I am not sure anymore.

Keep looking but For many , it is not worth it to work on LI. There are a lot of SAHM's that never go back to work because the jobs out there are not good.
