Did you get godparents a corsage/bout.?
Just curious. I see this sometimes at baptism's.

In italian families it's a tradition but I've been Godmother twice and have never gotten it. I don't see it as a big deal.
My mom was like "oh but you have to"...no I don't. DH's family doesn't do it and it's his sister and husband who are the Godparents so being that it's not a tradition in their family, I don't see them getting offended.

Italians are crazy with corsages! I should know, I grew up in a very Italian family. We're doing a corsage and bout for the Godparents this weekend.

They are totally insane! Sometimes you gotta put your foot down. I said no and that's it. If they were both from our side of the family then I would have to give in. But being that they are from DH's side of the family and it's not a tradition for them then why do it?
Sometimes these Italian traditions are ridicuous!

We didn't. At Sarah's I think 2 of the 7 families did. At Andy's last weekend none of the 6 did.

I got them for the godparents - but since I sat in the back seat of the car on the way to the church and they were in the front seat (and DH had no idea what they were for ) - I forgot they were there and forgot to give it to them.
I don't think it is necessary
