Anyone have a Chevy Volt?
I'm looking into possibly getting one and wanted to know if anyone here has one and how they like it.

Anyone have a Chevy Volt?
DH's cousin has one and loves it. He lives OOS. He drives it all day for his business (real estate agent). He raves about it all the time.

Anyone have a Chevy Volt?
Dh has one! It costs an average of $1.83 per day to charge it. He gets home at 4ish and plugs it in until 7am the next day, but it stops drawing power after the battery is fully charged. It's beyond awesome... a tech marvel really. He drives about 28 miles a day round trip and hasn't put gas in it in over 2 years. It also lets you know when the gas goes stale, so it makes you drive around and consume the gas in the engine. There's so many cool apps and leaderboards that go along with the car, and you can compete with other volt owners on a regional, state or national level. It's a friendly competition, but so much fun. The apps for finding outlets are great, too. One of them has some random dude's house that will let you plug in.... eh not for us. But it also shows you charging stations in your area or wherever you travel. We drove out east once to the wineries, and Bedell cellars has a charging station. It was awesome. 
The fact that it doesn't shift in Electric mode takes some getting used to, but it's such a novelty. It's quick and reliable, and there really are no drawbacks. Make sure you read the manual carefully and watch youtube videos on how NOT to put your car into safe mode accidentally. LOL whoops

Thanks! Sounds awesome! I've heard nothing but good things about it and the 2016 looks so nice! Hopefully it works out and I can get one! I've been hard pressed to find an HOV lane compatible car that can fit a double stroller in the trunk lol.

Btw I have twins, and we zipped around in the volt allll summer long 2 years ago, double stroller, groceries and all. I love it

Nice! The lease on my Prius is up in January and I've been spoiled with having a Clean Pass. I refuse to get another Toyota after having problems with them with my other car. At first I wanted an Accord hybrid but the trunk is so tiny, a double stroller won't fit! We literally went down the list of clean pass eligible vehicles and tested out trunks. Every dealership we went to thought we were nuts lol.
