Driving into city

Where to park? Don't want to bother with the train and we don't mind taking the subway. Plan to go to macys for santa, walk around and see the windows and the tree. And then late lunch early dinner. This will be in Dec. I know it'll be crazy but any parking recommendations.

Re: Driving into city

We always drive in and use bestparking.com

Be warned though, it took us almost 2 hours to drive in yesterday mid morning and 1.5 mid afternoon coming home. Plan your route ahead of time on Waze to see how long it will take.

check out parking garages in the midtown east area.. used to work at 42nd and 3rd and any time i went in to work on the weekends it was a ghost town and parking was cheaper.. youll be near the 7 train as well as grand central subways. also the tunnel will let you out very close by to that area

Yup. NEVER park in the city on the weekend without a coupon!
