Credit score?
The only place to get your true FICO scores is myfico.com.
You have to pay but if you google there is usually a promo code floating around.

Yup. When I went to get pre-approved for my mortgage the scores the lender got were exactly what I saw on myfico.

It is a benefit of having a cc with Capital One.

Of course! They're not just going to give it away to someone who isn't a customer. But it's a great perk. I get alerts through Capital One to any changes in my credit report each month, too and a breakdown of how different things can positively or negatively affect my credit score. It's like credit scores for dummies.

Which Chase card? I have 3 through Chase (2 Southwest and 1 IHG) and have never seen my credit score on the monthly statement.

credit karma will also show you your score
Credit Karma has what is referred to as a "Fako" score.
Its not absolutely accurate.
Freecredit etc etc is also not the ideal places to check your credit. You give a CC number and if you forget to cancel then they charge you.
I use annualcreditreport.com which is 100% free. by law the reporting agency's have to give you one credit report (NOT SCORE) a year. So I use 1 every 4 months.
For my Fico score I always use myfico.com. I always get a coupon online and pay. Its ABOUT $20? to get all 3 agencys FICO score on you.

I am a client and was first told they offer it to all clients, I will not open a cc with them.
