My DD HATES......
...her car seat
....her high chair
.....her stroller
.....her crib
.....her pack and play
Does anyone elses child just hate being restrained in any way? She is a nightmare to strap her into anything. Arches her bank and screams.
The only time she is happy is when she is in my arms or in the baby bjorn.
She is a free spirited/ high spirited one for sure and she is only 8mths!! God help me when she is a teenager

I think its a stage my DD is 9 months and does the same thing until I get her in and distract her.. Its one of many fun things to come

Mine is only 5 months and also hates the car seat, high chair and stroller. It seems that she does not like to have her shoulders pinned down. When she is in the high chair, I only buckle the lap restraints since she can sit up now and she is much happier. I think she'll be the same with the stroller, I just haven't tried it yet without the shoulder straps as we usually still have her in the SnugRide with the Snap 'n Go.
Maybe if you don't have to pin your DD's shoulders back she won't mind it either?

My ds went through a phase of that when he was similar ages - now he is great getting into things. I would say it started after a year or so

.............Forgot bibs...yes she HATES them too and rips them off as if they are choking her...it doesnt matter if they are plastic ones of cloth ones.....
and her latest one yesterday was to rip her sunhat off....no need for sunhats after today by the looks of things!!
