Costco - returning photos/photo cards?
I picked up my holiday photocards from Costco and I don't LOVE them, when I got home I realized the photo of DS is really dark and it doesn't look that way on my computer or on their website when I was designing it.
I know Costco has a very liberal return policy but is this pushing it?
If I do return it, do I go to the photo desk? the customer service desk? Will I look like a tool for saying "this little photo is just too dark"?
I'll reorder with them, I've loved their photo cards in years past, I'm just not digging this set....

If they came out too dark, I am sure they can redo them and lighten them up.
I have had that done, but through Tiny Prints. They were more than happy to help.
Sounds like it printed wrong on their end and they need to make it right

I've done it. You return it at customer service. No need to explain. Just say you are returning it. No questions.

You can try. But just remember that looking at how bright the picture is on your computer home doesn't mean that the picture isn't dark. Every monitor has different settings, so you should really try testing it on more than one monitor. And when you reorder at Costco, explain your concern to them. They should be able to do a test print for you.

I think most photo places would redo them. Make sure you check if any adjustments are applied to your photo. For example, I think Shutterfly correction makes my pics look darker and skin more orange. At another place, the color correction might make it look better. I would try a test print if possible.
