Dental Implant
My daughter needs a dental implant and I am looking to get a ballpark on what one implant would cost. People tell me anywhere from $1200 to $5000, which seems like a giant range. She does not need an extraction, just the implant post and the tooth itself.
If you have had one recently, do you remember roughly what it cost?
And any recommendations in Suffolk?

Yes ago I was quoted $1500
But this was like 8 years ago or more

I had 2 implants done last year and the total amount was $3,200. Also, make sure you negotiate with them because it saved me about $500.

Wow, my regular dentist has quoted me $3500 for one implant.

My husband just had one done, it was $1700. Contemporary Dental, Dr. Habib, I believe they have an office in Smithtown. My parents used him also.

I'm having one done right now. Its $1800 to the oral surgeon and than I will have to pay my regular dentist for cap/crown. I was just talking with my brother who just finished an implant. My brother shopped around and paid $1700 for everything so I'm going to call.

I'm assuming your dentist quoted you for both the implant and the crown, otherwise that's very high.
