Does anyone know if getting a dental implant hurts?
My sister is getting a dental implant after she had to have an emergency extraction of a lower molar.
She isn't quite sure what to expect..I assume there is at least soreness...anyone with experience? TIA!

I have lookied into implants. yes they hurt.

I had one done- honestly- it was easier than the extraction.
You are numbed up to high holy heaven- and you can be asleep if you want- but I chose not to be.
The recovery was the same as the extraction for me- it really wasn't bad at all...
